Introduction:

1.1 Purpose            The main purpose of this document is to prepare the software requirements for     Library management and mention the functional and non-functional requirement     It provides a friendly environment for using library management.

1.2 ScopeThe scope of this library management is the client for the project wishes to enter thePc-based internet environment by using PC-based internet,allowing library to  users searchFor books,seminars&library.

1.3 OverviewThe implement of library management starts with entering and updating masters record like bookdetails, library information any further transactions like book issue,book return will automatically updatethe current book

General Description

Product PerspectiveThe proposed library management system will take care of the current book details automaticallyso that users will get the update current book details

Product FunctionThe main purpose project is to realize the manual work,this software is capable of managing bookissues,return & calculating/managing fine generating various reports for record keeping according to endusers requirements

User Characteristics/Interface:We have two level of users

User module :
In the user module,user will check the availability of books

Administration module :The following are the sub-modules in the administration module·         Register user
·         Entry book details·         Book issue

General ConstraintsAny update regarding the book from library is to be recorded to update & correct values

Hardware Interface·         Window·         Hardware : 40gb·         RAM : 250mb·         Processor : Pentium (or) dual core


Software Interface·         Java management·         Net beams IBE8.1·         My SQL

Functional Requirement·         Book entry : In this module, we can store the details·         Register student : In the module we the detail of the student·         Book issue : To track the book issue details·         Book return : To keep the track of the return book


Performance RequirementThe capability of the computer depends on the performance of the software.The software can take any numbers of inputs provides the data size is larger enough this depends upon the memory size

Safety RequirementThe  database may get crashed at any certain time due to virus or operating system failure, therefore, it is required to take the database backup so that the database is not lost

Reliability:There will be no maintained requirement for the software the database is provided by the end user and therefore is maintained

Portability:The system is developed for required purpose, so it can’t be portable

AvailabilityThis system will available only until the system on which it is installed is running

ScalabilityApplicable

Accuracy:The accuracy of this project will be so efficient no mistake can be obtained in the system hence the library management will be so efficient
