Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them

The relationship between Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander is a textbook for the Hogwarts students. It was written by Newt based on his adventures and interactions with the Magical Beasts.
When Newt was on his journey of learning about these Fantastic Beasts, there was something unfortunate going on for the wizarding world: the rise of Gellert Grindelwald to power as a Dark Lord. His plan of creating a world where powerful wizards and witches reign over the world, teaching muggles their place which was covertly termed as “for the greater good”

Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them is the backdrop of the Harry Potter. Without it Harry Potter wouldn't have happened.
It may seem like the story is about Fantastic Beasts, but it indeed is the story of Albus Dumbledore and Gellard Grindelwald.
The story will open with Newt Scamander travelling to New York and accidentally unleashing a lot of Magical creatures over the city, risking the identity of the wizards to be revealed.

While in the back drop Grindelwald will be rising to power and would be the first person to dwelve deeper in the Dark Magic, and would give Horcrux a bigger picture.
Starting in 1926 with Newt Scamander, the story will end in 1945 with Dumbledore defeating Grindelwald, and it will set up the story for Harry Potter series.
Voldemort is born in 1926 and inspired by Grindelwald he will become the biggest Dark Lord world would ever see.
